The Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart, with its two prominent locations at the Stuttgart International Airport and Stuttgart City Center, stands as a benchmark for excellence in the automotive retail sector.
As part of Porsche’s commitment to innovation and seamless customer experiences, the Stuttgart branches sought to elevate operational efficiency and redefine showroom interactions.
Faced with the dual challenge of implementing cutting-edge digital price labeling and enabling precise vehicle location tracking through a unified hardware solution, the Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart required a cohesive integration with existing Porsche systems. This need for flawless connectivity and interface alignment with already existing systems and procedures added an extra layer of complexity to the project, demanding both precision and adaptability.
Approach
To ensure the project’s success, we began by developing a comprehensive framework tailored to the customer’s specific needs and operational requirements. This framework served as the foundation for all subsequent phases and was carefully validated in close collaboration with the customer to align with their expectations and goals.
Once the framework was confirmed, we proceeded to define and implement the various project phases, each designed to address specific objectives and ensure a smooth transition to the new system. The process culminated in a successful roll-out, delivering a fully operational solution that fully integrated with the customer’s existing ecosystem.
The Solution
Seamless Integration and Efficiency Boost: Saving 20 Minutes Per Vehicle
The implemented Digital Price Tag Solution by DiCoSo leverages advanced E-Ink display technology to create a dynamic and modern digital price labeling system.
To ensure maximum system integrity, seamless integration with Porsche’s existing platforms, particularly the Porsche Finder, was prioritized. This required the development and implementation of interfaces to ingest vehicle data (incoming) as well as those supporting precise vehicle tracking.

An additional client requirement was to minimize the workload placed on their internal IT teams. To achieve this, the solution was designed with plug-and-play capabilities and optimized for effortless compatibility with Porsche’s existing IT ecosystem. This streamlined approach ensured smooth deployment while maintaining the highest levels of operational efficiency and accuracy. Furthermore, the ease of use for end users was fully achieved by providing intuitive and self-explanatory hardware and software.
The Result
The project delivered measurable improvements in operational efficiency.
The solution is enabling the client to track vehicle inventory in real time from the moment each car arrived on the premises. The streamlined inventory management significantly reduced manual tracking efforts and enhanced stock visibility.

In pure numbers, this means that the customer reports a time saving of at least 20 minutes per used car process in the sales area (e.g., localization, key search, repositioning, vehicle checks, etc.).
Additionally, the implementation of a centralized price management system empowered the client to execute short-term sales promotions with unprecedented ease and agility — something that had never been possible with a paper-based pricing system.
These capabilities not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations, driving both operational effectiveness and strategic sales opportunities.
Moreover, whenever the client identified a need for changes or adjustments within the application, we were able to respond promptly and execute these tasks with precision.
